Travel & Accommodations
Portsmouth and Rye have many different hotel and rental home options. We have room blocks at the Wentworth by the Sea Hotel & Sheraton Harborside that are limited, please book using the links below with our rates if this is of interest. Getting there
Wedding Venue: Wentworth-by-the-Sea Country Club
60 Wentworth Rd, Rye, NH 03870
For the wedding day, transportation will be provided from downtown Portsmouth and Wentworth by the Sea Hotel to the wedding venue and to the after party. See ‘Schedule’ page for full shuttle information.
Traveling by car
You can drive or rent a car to travel to Rye/Portsmouth, NH. The drive time is 4 hours and 30 minutes (from NYC), without traffic.
Uber/Lyft in the area are limited, so if you want to explore we’d recommend renting or traveling via car.
Traveling by plane
Direct and connecting flights are available to Boston Logan International Airport or Portland International Jetport.
Boston, MA: If you choose to fly to Boston, you can drive from Boston to Portsmouth, take an Uber/Lyft or book a bus (info below). The distance from Boston Logan to Portsmouth is 1 hour without traffic.
Portland, ME: If you choose to fly to Portland, you can drive from Portland to Portsmouth or take an Uber/Lyft. The distance from Portland International Jetport to Portsmouth is 1 hour without traffic.
Please note, Uber/Lyft can be limited, so if you'd like to rent a car you can rent one at Boston Logan International Airport.
Traveling by bus
We recommend the C&J bus from NYC Port Authority Bus Terminal and Boston South Station or Boston Logan Airport to Portsmouth, NH. This is a luxury coach bus that has only one stop near the final destination.
